In line with the goal of promoting sustainable development and socio-economic cohesion and on the basis of Marcbal project previous results and cooperation liaisons among Adriatic Area Institutions, the ZOONE project, promoted by Marche Region-Agriculture, forestry and Fishing Department with SVIM-Sviluppo Marche SpA support and participated by 9 partners from 6 Countries aims to strengthen innovation capacity both at researchers/technicians and institutional level to create a favorable environment and specific support to zoo technical enterprises.

Proposing a shared innovative scientific and institutional baseline is the requirement to develop innovative entrepreneurial frame. The overall goal is to promote innovative joint research activities and scientific-institutional cooperation networks, transfer research innovation and results to strengthen Adriatic rural areas economies, consolidate and develop shared institutional framework and policies for a knowledge and innovation based zootechny in environmental, economic and social sustainability terms.
